Another vote for HG. This was my first and I reviewed many before purchasing. My foot box is zippered, 20F with on ounce overfill. And they had a sale at the time which made the choice even...
I ended up with the chameleon and am satisfied.

Sounds like some ideas to try for sure. It wasn't a real big deal, but thought it would be nice to pull the head and foot end out as demonstrated on dutchware site. I've seen his under quilt...
That's what I ended up doing.
With me in the hammock. Since the pullouts are "on top" of the under quilt. I may just need to fiddle with it more, just didn't seem to work at the time.
I got to try out my new Chameleon on a recent trip. First hammock with pullouts and after attaching HG UQ, they seem to interfere with it staying up. Like the idea of pullouts at head and foot end,...
Definitely had sections to it, looks like about 10-12 feet each. I'm guessing dropped in by helicopter in bundles and bolted together. It was super sweet for sure, and more than one. Only danger I...
From the title... I didn't do the whole trail, at least not yet :).
I completed the North Chickamauga section close to Chattanooga TN. 16.3 miles and two nights (North Chickamauga @ Montlake...
According to their Facebook page, looks like McEwen TN, that's just west of Nashville. Not to far from me, wonder if they take walk-up buyers? I bought their cloudburst tarp years ago, quality...
I received my Chameleon yesterday and I have to say it's pretty nice. The hexon 1.2 is soft, but so was my ENO technest. I set it up in the attic this morning (raining outside), and I have to say...
Shug - I was updating my backpacking checklist with my new to me hammock gear. Long time backpacker, newbie hammocker. After seeing this thread, I had to insert a small "hammock picture" to give me...
I did order the hexon 1.2. The eno I have is a technest, very light and pretty soft. Will be interesting to see/feel the difference.

Yes I have many hobbies, but sleeping good in the woods is a new revelation for me in the hammock.
Did some more research and found little about the Circadian, but a lot about the Chameleon. Never saw one complaint about that hammock. With the 20% off, made the plunge and ordered one.... not...
WOW - 3 Chameleons..... Can I ask why or what I should be looking for? It won't be that much difference in costs if Dutch does 10%.
Thinking of buying a new hammock after recommendations from some that a 11 ft is more comfortable than my ENO. I think these two fit the bill. I bought HG under and top quilt several months ago and...
Shut, I've always wanted to do this but my fear of getting eat up my no seeums, skeeters etc, have me debating. I'm a magnet for those it would ruin it for me. Is there a time of year or specific...
Well, I ended up changing my order to 20deg TQ and UQ, with 1 oz overfill, more for the migration issue, plus I don't plan to be out at 10 deg anymore. Been there, done that. :)
I wish I knew if overstuff option was something I should have done. I emailed them this morning after sleeping on it. Ordered 10deg set, probably never out at anything below 20, but the price was...
Just bought my first TQ and UQ - figured 20% discount was as good as it gets. I decided for the money, this was best option.
Just checked and hammock gear has 20% off today. I ordered an under and top quilt. Been perusing for a while and pulled the trigger for 10deg on both.
Thanks, yes Bankhead is close to where I grew up, and have camped at Brushy Lake. My GG Grandfather homesteaded 160 acres there in the mid 1800's.
How do I find that out? And thanks for the other info, will look into that. Spent many miles in the GSMNP, AT through North Ga and some of the AT through NC. Many fond memories. Getting older but...
Thanks for all the info on this site, don't know what I would do without some of this information. Been backpacking over 35 years and always in a tent. My buds have been in hammocks for a few years...
