Any chance you've compared it to Luke's 90 degree? They look almost identical, with some added features on the Cross hammock
I haven't been on this site in months, and I happen to arrive for this announcement. Can't wait to see what they come up with. Agree, the 90 degree design is "the best" design (for some of us at...
Looking for a solo!
Thanks
At least. My hammocktent.com was developed by Luke at Exped probably 12 years ago at this point. Only thing amok does better is the beer mode option. Cross seems to be a direct evolution of Luke's...
Thanks latherdome and rafting Tigger. I appreciate your thoughtful responses and will likely buy another tensa solo. I like options, and buying the same thing is kinda boring, although likely the...
It's likely in 2 dumps 3 states apart from each other at this point. Any thoughts on the anchors? I find anchoring the weak point on any system. Less you need in the first place the better
I guess I have a specific question. I've been using a tensa solo for a couple years, but I need to replace it due to my incompetence. Ha!
I would just buy another, but we have an option now. They...
I was thinking of the amok tarp, but hadn't found anyone that has done this even though they advertise as such.
I need a new tarp for my warbonnet eldorado, but considered this because I also...
I've tried lots of different pads in my 90 degree. Longer tubes stretch the hammock a touch longer. The side by side tubes stretch it slightly wider, while shortening it. I find the pads like nemo,...
Yeah. I'd still do this trade!
Love it. I'll probably bring my tensa solo pole, and have been thinking about whether I needed to think about different anchor than the orange screws I have. Sounds like your wheels are the anchors....
Still looking!
Is that a 790/890?
Is it wrapped around the rear wheel? Hard to tell from the picture. Almost looks like to a spoke. Does the bike move?
I'll have to give this a try. I'll be doing the TAT on...
Mine is in excellent condition. I'd trade for a single layer version of the same. Here's the order from warbonnet
Thanks!

Eldorado Hammock × 1
Eldorado Hammock Style:...
I bought this here a few weeks ago. I complained to haven about the tight bugnet so they sent me another. You get both! Comes with hammock, XL pad, 2 bugnets and camo tarp. Still has tags attached. I...
Thanks. I'll check into it.
I only mention the ground because I'm planning a cross country motorcycle trip. There's going to be a time I won't have a choice so looking at options. I may end up...
Alright. I like the sound of this option. Did you buy your Fronkey? Where? Have you tried it (gulp) on the ground with this setup? I was just looking at Dutch options. This hammock is a lot clunkier...
Seems crazy that there are problems like this. Not sure how it makes it past the design phase. Not talking smack, just surprised is all. I still hold out that I might be doing something wrong in the...
Tried reversing the bug net. It's a little better, but not much. Sadly, I'm used to hammocks from our stellar cottage guys that are flawless. Hopefully, I'll hear from Haven tomorrow and see if they...
Thanks Shug. I guess sticky was the wrong choice of words. More that the bugnet is so tight, it doesn't close. Seems like either A) a design flaw, or B) a new user messing something up. Guessing its...
Just picked up a new to me Haven XL. The zipper is so tight, I'm afraid I'm going to rip the thing. In fact, yesterday, I separated the zipper on accident trying to zip it up. I understand this is an...
Thanks. For $40 I'd buy new. If you're negotiable on the price, pm me, but I like to give sellers what they feel is fair, so rather not lowball.
Cheers
Thanks. I'm already on the fence whether the XL will pack small enough on my motorcycle. Pretty sure the Safari will definitely put me over the edge!
I guess I'm kinda looking still. Thanks!
Thanks. Sounds like my suspicions are correct!
I'm thinking of giving one of these hammocks a go. Wondering if its worth getting the tarp? Thinking my Thunderfly is going to be better in every way, so why buy their's? What do I know??
...
Looking to try out one of those newfangled Haven Tent hammock thingamabobs. Thinking the XL is the only one that will work, considering the width.
Thanks
just messaged you paypal info.
Thanks!

I did. Invoice says October 3rd!
Absolutely. You can set it up anywhere that you have the floor space and a way to anchor the foot end. I had it anchored with a shoe, behind a closed closet door.
Check this link for tons of info...
I bought one. Set it up once for fun, laid in a bit, put it away, and have realized the reality of me using it is slim to 0.
I paid $352.35 and not ready to lose a ton on it. Shipping isn't cheap...
fetal/side sleeper in bed and Warbonnet Eldorado!
Bumping till I find one!
Looking for one of these fancy stands!
Anyone have one of these?
I have the original cuben fiber tarp for my 90 degree. Its amazing, but it's pretty tight under there. This would give a little more space, and likely pack a bit...
That bit about fine tuning by raising or lowering the straps is really what helped me get the eldorado dialed.
Same with my eldorado. It really doesn't look right at all when its set best for me. Crazy but it works
Based on my hammocktent.com 90 degree that is now unobtainium, I disagree. Unlike Amok's design, an air mattress is not required, although is more comfortable. I find a pad like a thermarest actually...
Anybody compared the XL to a ridge runner? I passed on a ridge runner, because as a semi fetal sleeper, I always found my knees on those hard edges. Would I have the same problem with the haven?
...
Wooki on my Eldorado is stellar. There is exactly zero adjustment. Toss it on both ends and your done. It's never slipped or ended up in a funny spot. It has nowhere to go. It's really well designed,...
I see the thread below. I'm looking specifically for pack size comparison. Can anyone take a picture of the two side by side?
Thanks
Looking for above.
Thanks!
wow. I can't believe no one has picked this up. Slept in mine last night. These are "the best".
i'm about due a UK pub trip. Maybe, in the next month or so. If I go, I'll post in this thread. I'd be happy to add your new gear to my carry on and ship it when I arrive in the land of Real Ale.
You've been teasing us for a couple years now. Maybe, you and Powerboil should come together on this. I'll nominate myself for testing:)
Chair mode is great!
Will the bugnet be removable?
How long is the ridgeline? One of the best things about the HT90 is the short distance between trees. Sorry the picture is so small and...
As another fan of the 90degree design, let me just say how much I love your innovation, but also that you've rigged it up in your living room. Well played!
Any plan for a bug net? I bet bugs are...
We're the lucky few. Luke figured out the best setup for sure.
I bought an Eldorado because I didn't want to spend the money on the shelf I didn't want that I'd have to stake or deal with flopping around. It was not a weight decision. I also put a proper...
