:woot: That's whats up.
Yall know I'll be there.
If you have some louisiana firewood, please bring what you can.
You know I'm in.
At this rate, I’m hoping the weather is cool enough to be sleeping outside.
What is the 10 person wilderness rule? I'm not familiar with this.
Thanks for posting WhiskyCavalier. I am really looking forward to this.
I’ll be there since I missed the Mississippi hang.
Sorry you can’t make it Pat. Go wildcats.
If I arrive on Friday it will prob be around midnight. My wife went and bought tickets to some reunion dance. Ugh. If not late Friday, then Saturday...
Ahhh, you remembered!

I’m on the road now, and I can’t edit the sign up sheet. I’ll make coffee with the percolator and cook eggs made to order, for Saturday breakfast.
Sounds good to me.

Is the snake skin one piece? 12 foot long?
I'm in for bundle #3. I'd be honored to use your bro's cook system.
I considered this tarp in the past. I was very interested in its weight/price point. After looking at it again, I am leery of the lack of reinforcement material at the ridgeline and tie outs. hmmm.
If it's alright with you folks, count 2 more in from Louisiana. Myself and PScanlonjr plan to attend. I'd like to do some hiking, as it will be my first time in the area. Perhaps see the big tree.
Which material is the superfly?
Quick question: was it factory seam sealed or did you do it?
I'll take it, hex tarp.
Great pics Al. Those sunsets are amazing. Thanks to everyone who planned, organized, and attended. Always fun times.
Those interested in hiking, lets get another trip planned.
I have a tarp. I'll be there.
Drifter, I adapted my recipe from a couple of vids on youtube.
Couple of pics.....
Will be a great weekend no matter the weather. A few of us will have extra quilts if needed.
I might even try warming the beans next time. It was a good weekend. How cold did it get Friday night?
I am aiming for arriving around mid day Friday.
Looks like I am back in for Friday night.
Is there a decent loop trail in this area?
I had something come up, so I cant be there till Saturday. The mountain man breakfast might be out, I'll see about making something for Saturday night.
Cheers.
Well this is shaping up nicely.
I'll be there.
Thanks for the heads up Cavaliera. Count me in. I'll make some dutch oven mountain man breakfast.(sausage, egg, bacon, peppers, hashbrowns, cheese, etc) Should make about 10 servings.
How crucial is it to bring a turtledog/hammock stand?
What is the difference btw the Quest and Quest II ? Same size, same weight, just different material?

Thanks Dutch. This chameleon is silky smooth and instantly comfortable.
Ordered a brilliant blue chameleon w bug net. Thanks for the early sale Dutch & Co.
No bug net?
More info on the Cuben tarp please. Hex or asym? Ridgeline length? Age? Any lines included? Stuff sack?
I hope its the chameleon next. I want a new hammy for my first Hangcon.
Anxious to see what's on the next sale...
Not a problem. Just wondering.
What is Florida's Nat. Forest policy for drinking open alcoholic beverages? Asking for a friend :shades:
This answers all my questions. Seems everything I need is there: toilet, shower, hiking, kayak launch.
So when is this group Ride to Hang?
I’m interested. Where is this place?

Yes. I think in Batesville. Search for thread in southeast.

Now that’s a post title that caught my eye. 2 of my favorite things. The one time I was able to motorcycle the BRP we rented a cabin in Townsend. I need to slay the dragon again.
