Tried to reply to your last PM but it says your mailbox is full. If still available I'll pay today. Ok to combine with UQ if not already posted. Let me know.

I'll take it. (New River UQ)
I'll try and check back this evening but else it'll be in the morning.
Interested in the New River! Currently looking at their website with one in the cart!
How much do PayPal fees typically run to?
@Shug @FLTurtle thanks [emoji106]
Sorry for the bump of an old thread but I'm essentially asking the same thing; what would 2 x 20deg UQs add up to? Or say, 1 x 40 and 1 x 20? I know it's probably not an exact site but I wanted to...
Thanks Mike, much appreciated.
I think I need to look up how a Fronky differs to a regular bug net
So based on Shug's video it seems you can not only get a diagonal lay but it would also be possible to combine with an under quilt
You can buy just one half of a zipper? [emoji44]
I have thought about making my own and I bought some material to make some practice run stuff sacks. Not sure my sewing skills would reach to attempting a zipper.
I need a lottery win! [emoji16]
I wasn't sure if the sock would impact great that much or not. The Dutch package looks good but a bit steep for me right now.
That was my thinking behind the netless and the summer sock
I dunno that I want to run that risk here in Texas! We're coming up on prime skeeter season. Annoying little [emoji2959]'s
It's all so bewildering. Too much choice is stopping me from a decision [emoji4]
It's a tricky one [emoji16]
Maybe I should save some pennies for an extra couple of months and spring for a chameleon
I can't decide. Anyone have an opinion either way? I'm wondering how useful the tie outs are? I don't have them on my current hammock so I'm wondering what they add?
I'm pondering a double layer hammock, possibly a Dutch half-zipped, as a budget upgrade that would be versatile in most Texas conditions. If you use a sleeping pad, can you a) get a diagonal lay on...
Cool, thanks. Might be a winner [emoji106]
How robust is the netting? Fairly standard?
Cabela's are selling this net tent like hammock enclosure for $70 but was wondering if anyone had experience with this brand? I have Cabela's bucks burning a hole in my pocket! [emoji106]
I'm loving the look of that AMOK hammock

Waiting on delivery of my Tensa Solo! Hurry USPS I want to get out and try it [emoji3]
If you go the thread adaptor route, how do you connect them together?
Could you use small loops of 3/32 steel cable with eyes? The stuff they sell at home Depot for instance? Then clip the...
I'm liking this idea a lot as I mainly camp with scouts and so travel by car!
How do you determine the width/spread of the feet?
Ok cool. Wasn't sure if it would flip the stand if unoccupied.
I'm curious how these stands do in the wind when a fly is attached? It was windy this weekend and hammocks on trees did just fine but I've been considering one of these as not everywhere I go with...
I ended up cutting some aluminum tube stock from home Depot into little dowels which did the job [emoji4]
Wasn't sure if that would effect guy line tension. Thanks [emoji4]
Thanks [emoji106]
I have a couple of questions I was hoping someone might be able to answer for me:
Does this still function correctly on non level ground? By that I mean on a slight slope.
How does it hold up...
My yoga mat was perfect except I couldn't stop it bunching up [emoji19]
I was in East Tennessee last week where it was 70 overnight. Just had yoga mat underneath and fleece sleeping bag liner on top. Was just right.
The net is same size as the hammock which means there is a lot of material flopping about unless you tie it runs the tree.
Back from scout camp. As I hadn't been there before I resorted to putting the tent up on Friday night as it was dark. I can report that the Klymit V Insulated pad is very comfortable even as a side...

I threaded the closed loops through the gathered ends. No go on getting the ridgeline under the net without unpicking some stitching. Ridgeline will loop over the ends; set to about 92" as hammock is...
By the"hammocks CLs" that's the black rope threaded through the end of the hammock that currently has the 'biner attached?
The net is integral to the hammock and, as you say, has 3 strips of webbing going across to give the net its structure; tighter the line the higher the net. I'm not sure if I could run the ridgeline...
Tarp was attached to straps as I didn't have anything longer to go round the tree....
It's still setup outside so I'll take some in a mo and post them.
I never managed to get the tension from the ridgeline but all told I had a pretty comfortable night. Even got visited by some sort of furry creature.
Now to figure out how to get the neighbors...
That's a pretty good idea. Weight isn't so much of a consideration tight now as I'm only camping out with the exits each month. No backpacking yet. I was planning on an REI run tomorrow. What sort of...
Whoopie slings aren't easy to adjust under load are they? Had to detach the hammock to loosen then a bit.
Definitely feeling the pinch around the shoulders. Time to adjust.
I'll see how much higher I can get the straps.
I got a good setup last night with bit much tension in the ridgeline but I'm between two trees that are further apart tonight and it's like a guitar string [emoji848]
