PIF Gear bundles, Round III~ Limited time! Keeping Sqidmark on the trail...
Last year we lost one of our forum members who I was close to. Sqidmark was a long time member, and friend and shared with the HammockForum.net community freely and often. I shared some time with his family a few weeks ago and came home with most of his trail gear because his family simply didn't want to deal with it. I am offering it up to our members as a way to help newer folks gear up, but mostly to honor Sqidmark and to keep him and his gear out on the trail.
I am listing three bundles of Sqidmark's gear... These bundles can't be broken up or mixed and matched.. take them as they are. I am doing my best to put together salient groupings. Once these three bundles are on their way, I will list a new set as time allows.
Rules:
- Items are offered as bundles only, no mix/match and don't ask me to divide anything.
- A simple lottery system will determine who receives each bundle;
- This round of items will close at midnight on Sunday, August 18th, after which I will draw one random number for each bundle, using a random number generator;
- If you want to participate, post in this thread "I'm in for Bundle #x". Your time stamp will put you in a list for each bundle;
- Each person can participate in only one bundle lottery and those who have won a previous lottery, can not participate in this or any future bundles. Just trying to spread the wealth;
- Winning participants will be responsible only for the cost of shipping and all of these items will be shipped via a flat rate padded envelope;
- I apologize, but no international shipping please. I know we have a very broad audience, but this needs to be limited to the Con-US for logistics;
- Oh.. one last requirement.. keeping the spirit of these offerings in mind, I am asking lottery winners to forward at least one picture of your item(s) in the wild to share with Sqid's family...
PS - At the request of Sqidmark's family I never posted of his passing. Please be respectful of their request for privacy.
Due to the circumstances of a HF member loss and the family wanting to spread the wealth, the moderators of HF are permitting me to run this via lottery rather than the first "I'll take it".

Round III - Bundle #1 - Suspension Combo
Includes:
- One pair of DutchwareGear 3.3 Kevlar tree straps (ten foot I believe). Used, but they certainly have many, many hangs left in them
- One pair of Dream Hammock Multi Buckles
- One pair of large Cogs.. (there are a few posts here on HF showing how to use them)
- One pair of 7/64th Continuous Loops (I believe this is New England Rope not Amsteel)
- One pair of 7/64th Amsteel Dog Bones
- One pair of 7/64th Amsteel Evo Loops (long enough to be used in the hammock end channel in place of a continuous loop)

Round II - Bundle #2 - Bear Bag kit
Includes:
- Fifty feet of Lawson reflective Ultra Glide Bear Line (if you've never seen this stuff light up at night... bring your sunglasses and sunscreen)
- Roll top dry bag with mini biner (Not sure of the volume, but it would be a three day bag for me)
If I can find a rock bag, I'll include it. If you use the PCT method, as I do, supply your own trail stick.

Round III - Bundle #3 - Ursack Major & Opsak LokSak Odor Proof Bag
Includes:
- One Ursak Major S29.3 AllWhite (Sqidmark used this exactly once, on his very last hang in Harriman State Park. I was with him when he bought it, and we used it together on that overnighter. Pretty sure I carried it too). With the exception of a few dirt spots it's in 'as new' condition.
- One large Opsak LokSak odor proof ziploc bag, unused. (I am likely going to remove it from cardboard box to ship)
