That is right. The "wall" on the right side interferes a bit, raising the pod up higher than optimum on the side. Not much of a problem especially if you are using an additional light weight top quilt. So it is doable, though it doesn't work quite as neat as it does with a more narrow Claytor No Net.
But I think a Snugfit would work closer to optimum, as will a MWUQ. And of course, the WB torso UQs.
