Trip Report - EGL fall canoe trip 2019 - Algonquin Thanksgiving Hang.
-
Awesome! Sad I missed it. At least my tarp was there so when I get it back I can hopefully smell the turkey.
-
That wonderful tarp saved the day. It was quite windy.
-
I really have to make it out to one of your canoe trips. Looks like such a great time! Too bad it is so far away from me!
-
Jiblets work is getting even more detailed... That dutch oven lid almost doesn't even look like wood.
-
Nice work all... even the budgie heads look delicious
-
what a great weekend for the colours. I was in Port Sydney for a friends party and the colours on the drive up 11 were glorious.
Sure looks like a great time was had. Obviously. Until next time....

Really regret missing out on the last two trips ... but time well spent installing the wood stove at the Rock. First burn of many captured below for posterity. Winter hang /snowshoe trek destination? Nice to have a warm spot to retreat to if needed.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7fdbb80ee0.jpg

Can we all bring our thermarests and have a big sleepover in front of that lovely, and warm, woodstove? I'll ask my mom if I can go!

That's exactly where I spent the night! Toasty & happily sipping scotch by the fire while the wind & rain howled outside. Not exactly camping but still very nice.
