Hello from Central Pennsylvania
Relatively new to hammock camping, my son got me started a couple of years ago when we went on a three day backpacking trip in the Black Forest of PA.
Everything went well until the rain started on night two. Unbeknownst to me, the rain fly on my Hennessy hammock leaked! No fun, but we had a good time nonetheless.
Last night I tried my new under quilt in temps that got down to the low 30’s. I was toasty warm, just a pain getting in and out when nature calls!
The picture is from my test last night. Hope to do more backpacking as long as my 67yo body holds up!
