“Keep that foot elevated!“. That’s the last thing my doc said when I left his office in a hard cast, the result of a fall five months earlier when an extension ladder came apart beneath me. I might not be doing much camping or putting on many miles in the woods right now, but I can still hang! A hammock seems the natural way to go when you’re told to keep your foot up. :sleep:

I’ve found that the ladders on the back of most RVs are plenty solid for one end of a hammock. I put my tree strap around a short stick of pipe and allow that to span both rails of the ladder, just above one of the steps. Also works well at a campground when there’s a tree within reach.
