Looking good. Good luck with your new cottage vendoring. Looks like you'll get plenty of practice tying button knots too.

Good afternoon everyone.
If you placed an order on the 30th those orders have been shipped and tracking numbers were sent. A couple of you messaged me this morning saying that the tracking number says alert and delayed when you track it. See the screenshot.
I went to the post office to drop off more orders this morning and this is what I was told.
The mail coming out of my area typically has to route through Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh had a mercury spill on the 25th and due to this any mail sent within the vicinity of where I live that has to go through the pittsburgh facility has had a blanket statement of delay sent out because of it.
They said it should be on track shortly.
Here is the article they pointed me to.

I have phone alerts set for your packages so I can track your packages along with you.
If for some reason things get goofy I will of course replace the orders.
Just give it a little time and the tracking numbers should be updated.
You gotta love the US Post Office.
Have a good day. Please reach out to me with any questions you may have.
Thank you.
This is a package from the 30th that says alert and delay.

Here is a package I dropped off this morning April 1st. I watched the postal employee scan it. It too says alert and delay.

Hopefully USPS resolves this quickly.
Thank you for the update!
Mine has finally started moving within the USPS system and is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow (4.2)
I just finished up a pair of 40 footers and I have a few more to make tonight. :)
Thanks for the support everyone!

I've been admiring your work over on the FB page. Your button knot video helped relieve a ton of frustration for me. Thank you for that and good luck with your work.
