I don't think a bug net will be needed at this Fall Hang.

I'm so bummed. Adam and I usually make it to this hang and have so much fun but this year it is not to be. His work schedule is just stupid. Will be thinking about you all and wishing we were there!
I hear we already have some nice donations for the raffle.
If any of you are able to add the raffle, that would be great.
Personal donations as well as a few donations from vendors always make the raffle an exciting time!
Going through camping gear, I found a bunch of DIY light weight gear making stuff that I am going to add to the raffle.
Got the war bonnetblackbird out in the gorge few weeks ago getting use to it and like the bug net had to do a few mods to it probably use it at the Grayson hang!
The humidity is finally dropping here after the searing heat we've had the last few weeks. I'm looking forward to some cooler temps at night but hope it's dry. But I'm bringing the big tarp just in case anyway because after all, if you don't like the weather in these mountains just wait a few minutes........
Planning to take a closer look at some details on other's hammock set ups.
May try a few changes on mine.
Yep, like Deb said, always be prepared for rain and hope you don't need it.
Matter of fact, when I was taking groups of various sizes backpacking, camping, etc, if we left our camp set up for a day hike or whatever, I always suggested that they should leave their stuff covered for rain, even if the sun was shining.
And sometimes they saw first hand, why.
I've acquired some Shug & Hickery Brothers bling. Trying to track down the Maple King. Never know where that dude is at.
