New to the forum. I've been out hanging one time and really enjoyed it. Went up to Baldwin, MI and stayed along the PM River. Like to do some locally and really want to head back up to the Manistee RT and NCT. Hoping to head back out in September and October. Would really like to find a group that would like to do the same.

Welcome to the forums from Michigan. Come on up to a group hang sometime and meet a few of the locals. The Chili Hang is coming up in October 7-9 and the Gluttony Hang is November 3-6 (link in my signature).
Welcome aboard! I'm here in Huntington. My daughter just started at Grace College so I'll be up your way often.

Lost Woodsman, your daughter will love Grace College and Winona Lake. They have a really nice trail system for walking and bicycling. The mountain bike trails through the woods are nice to hike but you'll have to step off the trail when a bicycle comes through. We should grab some coffee when your up, I think we have a lot in common.

While I've never made it to an actual hang event yet, they do look like a great time. I'm going to miss the Chili Hang but do my best to try and make the Gluttony Hang. For crying out loud, there's going to be bacon cupcakes there! Markr6 here on the forums is from Fort Wayne. Maybe if it works out that we can all head up to a hang in Michigan, we can work out a carpool or something.
As for Grace College, yep, my daughter is going to love it. It's the perfect fit for her. I'll shoot you a message next time I'm up that way and have some extra time for coffee.
Video looks like the winter hang. A lot of the same group, but in February. From what I hear, the gluttony and bacon theme carries through to that hang. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
