Archery was just a rental fee at the range it's self. Fishing might be a fun idea as well, if we go I might just show up a day early.

If a storm front is predicted for the front range, postponing plan A.
I'm not sure Plan B would be very fun either.
I guess I'm just a fare weather camper these day. Cloudy and wind is just depressing to me.
I still like/prefer winter camping, heck, even -10F is fine but blue sky with little wind is a must these days.
I guess being retire where one can pick and choose the best days has spoiled me.
I agree, but if someone has arranged a ski trip or vacation around this hang, then that would leave them with nothing to do for a couple of days. I think the area we are talking about is directly east of the NCO Club. The local orienteering club has a map of the area. I have spent many hours wandering aimlessly in that area.
It would be fun to have hot drinks around a campfire.
No scout trip tomorrow. Big storm blowing in. The weather channel even gave this storm a name should give us a nice layer of fresh snow.
Wednesday's forecast is high of 50 so the plan is to drive up Wed morning and probably spend the nite. Should have picts up Thurs.
Luck to ya!
Yep - moved in fast, already snowing and blowing here.
Heading out to scout Kenosha today ~11am.
Bailey forecast 40s/15F, sunny, no wind for the next 3 days.
I'm hoping for 38/10F. Will report back with picts in a couple days hoping to spend at least one night at the overlook.
Dunno about anyone else, but I'm so looking forward to this!
