Excellent!! Looking forward to meeting you too! If you want to hang sooner, we will be having our Spring Swing in Ashby on May 15-17. It is coed, and lots of fun, often a few kids show up, beginner friendly too. so funny, my first (and only time) on forums is here on Hammock Forums. my first group hang was the Spring Swing in Ashby a few years back and I showed up just on my lonesome and was warmly welcomed. We are a very welcoming group of folks from all walks of life and backgrounds.

I have it on my calendar! Do we need to reserve another site? If so, could someone from MA possibly do it, since it's a lot cheaper and I'm no longer a resident?

I may have a dog with me.

I think we are all set with sites. We have 4 of them already so I think we are good as we can share.

Got the time off work, and it looks like my sister is more than halfway decided on coming along. Can't wait!

Sorry folks this Hang is cancelled. MA state parks are not allowing camping for tenters. They also are wanting family units only on individual sites and no going back and forth between sites. Only folks with rv, campers and people renting cabins and yurts who are "self contained" are allowed. But the bathrooms are open! Go figure. so much for self contained.

I expected as much. I'm in a locked down county in PA, and have been working in NJ in a place where we've had some cases, so it wasn't looking good for me, anyway. Stay safe everyone. Hope to catch you all at a later date.
