Took my wife on her second backpacking trip and left the kid with my parents. Two mother's day gifts in one go!!! A quick 3.5 mile hike put us over a ridgeline onto a trail that doesn't get much traffic. Only saw 2 mountain bikes on Saturday, no one else.
My wife tested out the 15F superior gear hammock w/ 12' tarp that we didn't test setting up before we went. It was setup without a hitch in the field. I went with the BBXLC and 20F wooki combo I've been liking. Overnight was low 40s. Plenty warm.
