Looks warm.
Nice looking set up
I have not used those quilts on a Town End, but I have on several different JRB bridge hammocks as well as a War Bonnet bridge, and all have worked great!
Thanks for the compliments…and agree, it does work perfectly on the ridge runner as well.
Great looking setup! We get a lot of folks asking about how different quilts fit on different hammocks. I'll be sure to point them towards this thread when they ask about Townsend.
Do you know how much wider the Happy Medium is than the WBRR?
I have both… width wise, they’re fairly close, the head spreader bar on the ridge runner is wider than the happy medium. The happy medium foot and head end is 36” where as the ridge runner head is 39” and the foot is 28-1/2”. Like bill at Townsend would say himself is that the RR is a one size fits most. (And fits wonderfully!) I love the RR and you can’t beat the fact that it has a fantastic integrated bug net … BUT… boy, if you can try a Townsend. They really are that comfortable. I have the full size luxury model as well but will probably be selling it. The happy medium, while not as wide as the luxury, still has the same 8’ length of bed space yet doesn’t need nearly the tree to tree hang width required of the RR.
I don’t mean to go on about a specific brand of hammock on the JRB forum. Hope it’s ok.
back to JRB! The good news is that the Mt Washington quilts fit equally as well on both bills and Brandon’s bridge hammocks! That’s a fact.:D:D
