Lightweight/Custom Clark Vertex?

Hey there Dutch,

I feel certain that you must have been asked this question before...but have you ever entertained the idea of sewing up a custom version of the Clark Vertex double hammock out of more lightweight materials? I'm considering picking one up to get my kiddo used to hammock camping, but I'd love to shave a little bit of that 5+ pounds of weight off to save my poor back. Asking here instead of email because I'm betting that others have wondered the same thing before...
