Thanks for everything Jared!

A few weeks ago I started looking around for my first setup and after much deliberation I finally decided to get a Tree Runner SL hammock and a Trail Haven tarp from Jared at Simply Light Designs. I chose SLD because I thought this would be a good set up for me to start out with, and also because Jared seemed to have a pretty good reputation on here.

Well, after doing business with him I can honestly say his reputation is well-deserved. I sent him several emails with a lot of questions but he was always quick to reply, and his advice really helped me out a lot. He went out of his way to make sure I understood what I was getting, and what my options were. In short, he went WAY above and beyond what I expected.

They were out of the original material I ordered, so he told me about another fabric that was a little more expensive but he thought I might like it better anyway. I told him that was fine and to let me know how much more I owed him, but of course he wouldn't let me pay the difference. He also made several other upgrades to my order at no charge. On top of everything else, I got the hammock a couple of days earlier than I thought I would.

All in all he was a pleasure to do business with, and I could not recommend him more highly.

Jared sets the bar high and there are many of us here who have experienced his amazing and fast customer service. When you get your new gear, post some pics of it in action. I've been around here for a couple of years now and Jarred continues to impress and produce quality wares and has one of the fastest turnarounds offered. On top of this he's a good guy to work with. Congrats on the new equipment.

We have a Trail Haven in our stable, and it is an excellent hammock. Also have his Winter tarp. I've been sleeping under it every night for the past week in plenty of rain. Would buy again.
