Sad news
Just saw this posted in the WL webpage. I had feared this was the way it would go. Continued prayer and thoughts to Marty's friends and family. He will be missed. His remaining gear will be treasured. Thanks for all you did for the Hammocking community!

From WL site...
On Sunday October 21, 2018 we lost the owner and founder of Wilderness Logics, Marty Gallimore. Marty loved to produce the products he did to help others enjoy the outdoors. He was an avid outdoorsman who made his mark on many and will be deeply missed. His family appreciates the many kind words that have been shared and take pride in knowing Marty touched so many lives.
We would like to thank all the loyal customers and friends of Wilderness Logics for your support through the years. It is with a heavy heart that we will have to announce that we will no longer be able to provide our products to you all.

I really really appreciated Marty and the OWL family. I really latched on to that company and my friend did too. It was the person we treasured and the cool stuff he made the whole team. I only was blessed to talk with Marty and wished I would’ve been able to walk the grounds with him and visited the store I did like so much. Peace.

Sorry to hear that.
If it hasn't already, Marty's passing will ripple through many vendors as he was a supplier of materials (especially down) to many.

RIP.
Sorry to hear of this. Thoughts and prayers out to the family. Also bummed that WL is no longer going to be in business. Such a pillar in this community - thanks for everything.

This is sad news. Maybe someone will be able to purchase the business and carry on? Hoping all will be better for Marty's family during their mourning period.

Sad news indeed. Brings back memories of an old archery add. " The sun never sets on Zwicky broadheads" Kind of like Marty his legacy will live on through his family friends and customers.

I am so sorry to hear of Marty’s passing. He answered a lot of questions for me when I was getting started. He was so helpful and I learned a lot. He will be missed.
