Swingers
Am I the only swinger here? Started swinging the very first time I hung a hammock. My wife really doesn’t like swinging, she says it makes her uncomfortable, but shes ok with me continuing to swing. If you would have asked me a few years ago,if I would try swinging,I would have said no,but after trying it one time ,I was hooked.
Ok,I was having a little fun,but seriously,I do enjoy a hammock that swings.I see folks tie their hammocks to keep them stationary, kinda defeats the purpose for me,I’m like a fussy baby at times, get me swinging and I’m out like a light.

I doubt I'd like it while trying to sleep, but when I'm just passing time horizontally, yeah, I swing. Sometimes I tie some small line off to a fixed object so I can rock the baby.

But seriously, I love to swing. Even just a tiny bit is soothing.
Did you know? For the low-low price of $2490, you can order a regular bed that does the same thing!

I love to swing a little too. Its soothing and puts me right to sleep. I especially like it when there is a rough breeze and it pushes me a little and I get a little swinging out of it. Out cold!!!

Chalk me up as a swinger. And I married well: my spouse likes it, too. We spend some of every day before bed cuddling and swinging in the big Mayan hammock.

It’s weird that there are tie outs to stop the swinging! . They are unused on my hammock.

The Swing is the Thing~~~~ Personally I so enjoy the swing.
Got Greenbean the New 2.0 on the backyard right now as my daughter asked if I could hook her up. This is a first!
Got a rope tied to ridgeline and stake in ground so she can sway and swing to and fro.
Her dog Bean loves it too.

I usually hang in a Chameleon with the sidecar and sidesling, both of which have tie outs. The tie outs are thin shock cord so it can swing, too. I like the way they keep the hammock open, especially after a few bourbons.

Love those long, lazy swings when the tree gap is around 16-18 feet so much that an extra stake and line clipped to my ridgeline has become standard equipment in my kit.
