Lawson stopped making them because of high cost of titanium. Can anyone suggest another source for good, lightweight/Ti hooks?
I added “good” because I know some products have been shown to be too bendy and fragile. Not interested in those!

I get mine at REI.
Also can find them on amazon.
Vargo makes some nice ones
They are a dime a dozen on Amazon (not literally). Lots of them are of the 6 gram per stake variety, which is lighter than the HD ones from Lawson (that could be a pro or a con).
I have a bunch of these in the non-rainbow variety. That anodized rainbow effect wouldn't last long even if you found it to your liking.

I also have and like the Vargo UL nail pegs, which are on the page ObdewlaX linked to, but you asked about hooks.
Lawson doesn't show ANY Ti shepherd hooks on his website!
The HDs have been my favorite for a while so this a bit alarming. :scared:
Thankfully I have a good supply but it's still not good because they were my go-to recommendation. I should email him and see what's up.
If you can wait a few weeks you can get them from Alibaba for roughly half the cost of buying them on Amazon. I think a huge percentage of what you buy from Amazon these days is stuff other people purchased in bulk from Alibaba, repackaged and sold with better advertising here in the US.
Yikes, I thought perhaps it was just the HDs, but even the skinny ones are kaput... :(
Dutch makes a thicker one too... https://dutchwaregear.com/product/ti-burly-hook-stake/ "The Burly stakes are our UL stakes on steriods. They are made from a much thicker rod and are by far the strongest titanium hook style stake available"
