I have a Tensa 4 stand that I use for kayak and car camping. I take it to group hangs so I don't take up trees somebody else may need. The Tensa Solo conversion kit is light enough to take backpacking so only one tree needed. There's always a solution, all it takes is money :)
wbjohn, Is the Tensa Solo conversion kit an extra option for the Tensa 4? Or can you just use one pole of the Tensa 4 - no other hardware needed other than what comes with Tensa 4? Also, do you use the tarp extensions? Do you use the standard anchors? Someday I’ll have a Tensa 4 for kayaking and wouldn’t want to pay shipping twice ("Oh, I need that too.”); so wonder what your kit consist of?
