#1. BACONFEST 2020 is now cancelled. I've waited to make this final decision until I felt it was clear what needed to happen. When Leinenkugel's cancelled our June tour, it felt like the dagger that ended our game.
#2. Although there won't be any in-person camping, Bacon Bite Night is still happening! Details of this VIRTUAL cooking competition will be posted on the forums soon (hopefully this week!). You will need to be a HF member to enter (not a paid member), but you can't be a guest of the forum. Anybody on HF will be able to participate - so start thinking about what savory bacon bite and which sweet bacon bite recipe you want to make!
#3. I will attempt to book the same Group Site at Lake Wissota State Park for next year. The dates would be May 21 - May 23rd, 2021.
#4. If you paid your 2020 registration and would it returned, please let me know. Otherwise, I'll just move it for the 2021 dates.
#5. Thank you all for your patience during this time. It wasn't an easy decision for me and a burden I really didn't want. I have been so super pumped for this group site and it is killing me that we won't be there until 2021. So, I promise to do everything to make next year super awesome. I have already committed to Friday night dessert of birthday cake to since it will be my actual birthday. I can't wait to celebrate and party with you all next year!!!
