Hi everyone! I'm old to camping but new to hammocks, I absolutely adore being off the ground and avoiding the rocks, roots & head rush of uneven sloped sleeping. I'm still just working with mass-produced equipment but I'm excited to learn more from this impressive group. I haven't been this excited to get sleeping outside in a long time.

Being in central PA you're within a couple of hours in any direction of great hiking and camping as I'm sure you know. PA-DCNR is well run and generally takes good care of its public lands and visitor facilities.
Thanks! And agreed - I'm somewhat new to the area, but I'm loving the range of parks & forests around here.
