I spy a stretch side! :)
Nice job on the hammock!
Really nice looking! I have a few of these to do in my future!
Thanks! Knotty, yes you do! I have to say if it wasn't for your very detailed plans, my stretchy sides wouldn't have turned out as well as it did. I'm also really glad I used bungee cord, because I'm really groggy in the morning and probably would have forgotten to loosen my sides with just regular draw cord!
That's one good looking hammock and a pair of happy looking hammock testers.
What kinda dog is that? Looks just like my dog, but I don't think there are Hovawarts in the States.
Nice looking work!
That is my gear tester, Jäger (not for the alcohol but the original German meaning of the word, Hunter). He is not a Hovawart but he is another German breed, Miniature Dachshund. He is officially a AKC registered Black and Cream Long-haired Miniature Dachshund and he's only about the 4-5 generation in his line to be born in the US, the rest of his family are from a German line, so he is a lot bigger and bulkier than many of the older US families which is what usually confuses people into thinking he's something else or not purebred.
And if you couldn't tell, my other obsession besides backpacking is my dog  . I'm still trying to figure out how to take him backpacking so that I don't worry he'll go off chasing rabbits while I'm asleep!
hammock looks great!!
