Shock Chord Thickness Question

I’m looking to switch my set-up for my tarp.

pI’m going to ditch the in-line shock-chord tarp tensioners on my guy lines for adding loops of shock chords to each corner. My plan is to keep my guy-lines attached to the stakes.

Im going to have hardware on each of the shock-chord loops permanently.

What would be the recommended thickness for the shock chord, knowing that a loop essentially doubles-up the resistance?

Anyone have a similar set up?

I don’t use shock cord on my tarp lines.

dutch told me 1/8” for the loops on guy outs. that’s specifically with me using the Ringworms.

I use 1/8" loops about 8" in diameter. Double fisherman's knot to make the loops is a good idea (but some of my side tieouts are single).
