I have the 2.2oz Hex70 XL from RBTR. The hexagonal grid is somewhat raised, providing texture. It feels like a very strong fabric. No stretch from what I can tell at #170. It's soft, not as soft as 1.6oz hyperD but way more soft than my comparably scratchy Eno Doublenest. You don't need to compromise too much on comfort for the extra durability. It might be a little more slippery than 1.6oz hyperD, but not to the extent I've heard people describe MTN fabrics. As for noise, I haven't got too much to compare it to but it's louder than 1.6 hyperD and the doublenest in a "crisp" kind of way.
Compared to the doublenest the slack from unused portions of the fabric gets in the way more, but that's probably more about how I whipped the ends. Actually sort of feels like if I'm not riding the ridgeline I'll fall off the sides. Last night I woke up in this hammock almost completely supported by my underquilt. But again this is probably my error.

2.2oz HEX70 XL is much wider than Hexon 2.4.
HEX70 has a honeycomb ripstop pattern. Hexon has a diamonds over squares pattern.
Probably due to the ripstop pattern, HEX70 has more stretch.
HEX70 is fairly rough and feels plasticky. Hexon is softer and feels almost cottony.
If Hexon 2.4 would be available in wide, it would probably be my favorite fabric.

I'm only about 140 lbs, but I get back pain from stretchier fabrics. I could only ever sleep in one 40D fabric without getting back pain after 3-4 hours, but it still wasn't very comfortable for me. For me, 70D fabrics are the perfect hammock fabrics - but there are more and less comfortable ones. I didn't like the HEX70, because it felt weird to me. I didn't get back pain, but it felt kind of "spongy". It's difficult to describe. The Hexon 2.4 on the other hand was super comfortable, and felt very solid.
I'm only 150, and so far, what you are saying lines up with my limited experience. Since the 2.4 isn't wide enough, what fabric is your first choice for comfort?
I got some Hexon Wide 1.7 70D fabric that Dutch only offered in cheap hammocks. It feels even softer, but has very little stretch. I think Dutch didn't offer it as a standard fabric because in order to achieve the low weight, it was woven very loosely. It doesn't have a huge capacity, but enough for my weight. I wish Dutch would get a Hexon Wide 1.9 70D - that would probably be pretty much perfect.
Unfortunately that doesn't help you, because it seems that Dutch sold out of the Hexon Wide 1.7. Other than this, I really like the 1.9oz Ripstop Nylon from RbtR. It's a tiny bit wider than the Hexon 2.4. Also, SLD makes hammocks from a wide 1.9oz Ripstop. The stretch is similar to the RbtR 1.9oz Ripstop.
