Winter came...and stayed until the end. This was a perfect trip! It was nice spending 5 days in the woods running the DIY stove nonstop. I think I'll pack up the hot tent gear until next winter and get back on the trail...but we'll see.

The fans range from about $30-80 or so. I went with a cheap $32 version and it works great. Just moving the heat around a little makes a big difference. Also nice for those who like white noise.Quote:

That stove warms you up more than you think. Things like dragging, cutting, and looking for wood is part of it too. :lol:
