Dutch has it on the site now.. I seen it at HangCon last weekend .71 Cloud seems to be a lighter better version of 1.0 Monolite. I will put pictures up.
Sorry, my phone can't seem to upload. I will as soon as I get home from work.
Here are some pictures, to wet your whistle before you order.
Looks intriguing! Thanks for posting pictures. It wasn't mentioned anywhere on their site last I looked, but I see it now. Very tempting to buy another hammock I don't really need.

Looks like Monolite.

Just purchased a netless .71 . That weight may actually get me to sleep without a top cover in winter :D
I know it’s a case of when not if, so when Dutch starts offering the Chameleon in Cloud71 this will be an instant purchase for me.
Light enough to make its way into my summer load out, and versatile enough for the winter to attach a top cover if I want.
Right now I have a 1.6 HyperD from Dream Hammock and, while it’s one of my most loved pieces of gear, it’s certainly bulkier and the bug netting isn’t the nano type that Dutch uses on his hammocks, meaning the Chameleon will pack down even less.

What is the feel? Is it stretcher than hexon?
Here is a netless hammock in Cloud 71 that weights 4.7 oz.

looks awesome! is that the coyote brown?
Well.... that took all of three minutes... burnt orange DW netless on the way.
Mods please move this if it’s too off topic (this is Dutch’s sub)
Looks very nice indeed, John. Two questions:
1. Do you have an approximate eta for production of the Poltergeist UL?
2. Regarding production, do you have any plans for expansion to help shorten your 16 week lead times?
Thanks.

Anybody know what the Denier is? I assume that it is made from nylon?
I ordered a moroccan blue netless hammock to try out. I didn't like the monolite because it was too stretchy but TrailHeadz said the cloud71 was less stretchy than the monolite so maybe this will work for me
The Cloud 71 is now available on all hammocks. We'll be officially announcing it in the next few days but you can get a jump on it already if you're interested.
There will be an epic video coming with the launch as well. We just tried to break a netless hammock and couldn't do it. We had 1028 pounds in the hammock and it was still hanging. We ran out of room.
I’m definitely less than 1028lbs. Phew! https://media3.giphy.com/media/EDt1m8p5hqXG8/giphy.gif

When I need to replace my netless, hopefully it'll be available in wide format!
Looks like skeeters would have a good time with that hammock unless it is treated with Permethrin. Might also cause problem for folks who like to strip down when they sleep.
Skeeters have no problem with any SL hammock fabric
It is available today!

Alex, don't you know that, just like a trampoline, you're supposed to take your shoes off before jumping on a hammock? (That rule doesn't apply to banjos...)
Feel bad for the poor rolls of fabric bandied about against their will, unceremoniously weighed and tossed on to the pile in a cruel and heartless demonstration of their own excess weight and obsolescence not unlike prisoners of war being forced to dig their own graves in their last moment of life.
still waiting on my netless hammock to ship....
Loving this fabric so far! Doesn't stretch a ton and seems to pack down as much as other hammock fabrics. So light!

Any word on whether the Banyan will be available in this fabric? Is it even possible?
I hope so.
Considering bridge hammocks have different stress factors than gathered-ends with regards to construction, I was curious whether this new material would be sufficient to handle those. I don't see why not but I'm looking forward to finding out. A really ultralight bridge would be awesome.
Impressive to say the least.
Just don't want my black and pink camo panties showing through~~!

If they’re camo, should we not be able to actually see them? https://media4.giphy.com/media/eGxkm...vjo7/giphy.gif

You could call them licorice pants. Maybe Dutch could include that pattern in his Print2Fabric lineup. https://media2.giphy.com/media/dzV5l...FCkC/giphy.gif

How could they show through a black and pink UQ anyway?
anyone know how much a chameleon would weigh with the .71 with/without a bugnet?
Email the fine folks at Dutch directly, they’re super responsive.
