Bridge Hammock & Hammock Pipe Stand?

Hello all. I've been hanging full-time the past 3+ weeks using The Ultimate Hang's Pipe Stand with my DH ThunderBird and it's been great. But I would like to give a bridge hammock a try for indoor hanging to save on wear of my ThunderBird which is my camping hammock. The (potential) problem is that the recommendations for hanging a bridge hammock suggest using trees 15' or more apart and my pipe stand is 12' long. Would there be any issues with attaching the suspension to the horizontal pipe at or near the corners? I could add 1' of length to the stand but that's as long as I can go given the dimensions of my hammockroom.

What bridge hammock do you have? I have the BMBH UL and the trees I use are not 15' apart. I think the WBRR will probably need 15' though.

The WBRR will hang in 13'. You will need to tie off to the small triangle on each end, but it works, I do it all the time.

The main thing is that when you shorten your triangles you are increasing the risk of tipping,, you can do it but i wont be as stable .
