Warbonnet Blackbird XLC: Impressions after the First Three Nights

Very well done review!! I have over 300 nights in my 1.7 DL XLC. I have tried several including DIY and ALWAYS return to the XLC. Im 6' and 285lbs so the system will certainly be different for me than you but they are fantastic to sleep in.

Wife and I have become permanent hangers since buying those XLCs. interesting thing is that I cannot remember ever using the winter cover even when we got down to 21 degrees. I do have Brandon's top quilt which is delightfully well made and has been my favorite top quilt while out of the house but inside, I just use a blanket... bottom quilt is Hg.

Thanks for your kind words. I have about the same amount of experience now in my own XLC, and I still stand by my report. I'm looking forward to using it in the spring and summer with and without the bug net, once "top cover season" has passed...

I would need 7 thesauri to write a similar review, and I would still fall short. ;)
