I am a stuffer, both my hammock and tarp. I would be willing to try the snakeskins, though. Looks cool.
my tarp is in snake skins, then gets rolled and stuffed into a dry bag.
my custom skins have pouches for stakes, extra side pull out lines, and the ridge line.
the tarp has pockets to hold all the tie out lines
my blackbird hammock gets stuffed into the supplied bishop bag.
If I'm kayak camping it then gets stuffed into a dry bag as well.

My primary tarp (MacCat Deluxe in SpinnUL)) has three velcro cable ties attached to a permanent "over the top" ridgeline. I use them to "furl" the tarp...quick, easy and weighs almost nothing.
My winter tarp (BDWD) lives in #4 Snakeskins...a convenient way for handling all the extra tie outs, cordage, etc. that goes with winter tarop.
