Hey everyone.

My names Kevin and I'm just starting to get into hammock camping. I've been reading all the great info on this forum for awhile so figured I'd finally join. I got an ENO double nest a couple fathers Day's ago an was loving hanging around the back yard. I've taken it camping a couple times but just to relax in. I finally made myself a bug net and got a tarp and was hoping to try it all out this past weekend. Well never fails when My family decided to go camping the weathers crappy. We had a heat advisory the first day so just standing outside you were dripping wet.. Needles to say I slept in my parents RV with the air on lol. Saturday it rained all day and night so decided to just stay in the RV again. The good news is I went out to the hammock a couple times during the storm and the tarp kept everything nice and dry.

I used to backpack when I was younger but haven't since I've been married. I'm hopping to get back into it and think the hammock is the way to go. Can't wait to try some winter camping sometime up here in MN.
