It seems to be pretty stout,no guarantees, I'll have to hang out in it a few times before I have a good Idea. I can draw up some plans though if you'd like

The first 2 photos made me think, "basement, I hope he didn't glue the parts, too." The last 2 photos cleared that up quickly.

very nice, I have a metal one I have used for 15 years or so. I have been interested in making a wooden arched one that the wife would let me keep out by the pool. Did you design this to be easily taken apart to move from here to there or is it "permanent"? Also, what fastening did you use on the diagonal bracing to connect the ground beam to the main weight bearing posts? Would seem those points to be the week point if anywhere...
