    I don't have a ton of posts, but do spend a great deal of time on the forums. I'm new to hanging and agree with out&backs philosophy; if your new you should read more than you post.
    I really didn't read enough when deciding to donate to see what benefits were to be gained from donating. I had no idea there were additional threads that weren't accessible because I wasn't a donating member. I donated simply because I'm new to hanging and have gained so much knowledge and insight into hammocking that I felt It was the least I could do to "give back" or to ensure that the site continues to thrive and to grow. Having additional content was just a bonus.
    I could have spent $100 on hammock camping/backpacking books and wouldn't have gained half as much knowledge as I've absorbed here in just a couple months.
    I understand this doesn't necessarily support one side of the debate or the other. Just my two cents...

    I do sincerely appreciate the mods and senior members of this forum for all their contributions and hard work.
