Sweet! I've resisted taking a pillow when hiking, but that looks like a great international travel pillow as well. Now where do you find that owl stuff?? =)

About a year back I spent about 2 weeks making nothing but pillows. One would be too soft the other too hard or too small ect. Took a awhile to make one that was just right. Lots of fun.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

So out of curiosity, any Idea how much it ended up weighing? I'm sure the fabric was next to nothing.

BTW, anyone else use their camelback bladder for a pillow? I wrap mine in a shirt or something, stays nice and cool

Good idea; I usually stuff my buff with spare clothes or my down jacket, but the camelback bladder sounds intruiging. Also makes it easier to find if I want a drink at night

I have an old Slumberjack (?) camping pillow also. It's plaid flannel on one side and a poly-satin on the other. Use it when hammocking at home. For camping hammocking, I use a small one I got from one of our cottage vendors. What i liked is that he used a length of batting and just folded it over. It wasn't stuffed with balls of poly stuffing. It also has a length of thin shock cord and a mitten hook - can be attached to the Ridgeline.

Still love a pillow in a hammock.
Line to tie on to the ridge is key.

Got a down pillow from REI, weighs nothing.

This just inspired me to make a new hammock pillow. From scratch I just busted one out in like 20 minutes using an old hand-me-down christmas fleece sweater and and some stuffing from an old pillow that never gets used. Thanks!

Awesome! Yeah, these things are crazy simple to make, take no time at all.
    Good luck,
