How to make a hammock pillow

Don't let Red kid you folks, he has an owl tarp, owl pj's, owl quilts....

I woulda went with the sheep fabric. It is a nice 'hootorial'.

I got it at Joanne Fabrics. I took it the counter and the conversation with the young girl went like this.

Her: What are you going to make with this?
Me: A pillow for my wife.
Her: Are you going to sew it?
Me: Yep, I've got two sewing machines at home and I'm the only one there who knows how to run one.
Her: I wish my boyfriend knew how to sew.

It was pretty funny.

I started out making pillows. Very simple, excellent project to start sewing with, as well as stuff sacks. You do a great job showing us all how

Looks very comfortable!

I bought some Giants football team fabric and made giants pillows for all my friends who are Patriots fans up north. HAH!

Before I sent this pillow down to Les Rust my quality assurance department thought it was a little under stuffed, so I opened it back up and put almost another oz of stuffing in bringing the weight up to 4.3 oz. Hopefully it will be enough.

I know this is an old thread but I wanted to say I made a pillow from this pattern and it is great! Fits my neck very good kinda wraps around. Very comfy!!! Thanks red!

Very cool. I'm usually not a pillow guy, but if I make one of these a bit smaller... in a camo or OD fleece... I might just become one.
