My name is Jon and I'm from Hastings, Michigan. I'm a ground dwelling camper, but I do have a Grand Trunk para hammock that I would like to get a bug net for. Any ideas there?
I joined because my buddy Mike, aka Nimbus37, a hammock camper, told me there is a hang planned in my neck of the woods (Deep Lake State Park, Michigan). I love living in western Michigan and try to go on adventures as much as I can but there never seems to be enough time. My hobbies are backpacking, camping, kayaking, xcountry skiing, guitar, movies, video games, gardening, and science. I've backpacked North and South Manitou Islands, Isle Royale NP, Shenedoah NP, Yosemite NP, Rocky Mountain NP, and parts of the AT in eastern Tennessee. I look forward to contributing in any way I can.
