Finally got around to making the 2nd of the pair this time with snaps on the footbox. It is about an inch larger than the first so that the two can be nested without the inner one being compressed. 20.1oz this time around (still needs a stuff sack).
The two nested together. I'll add some ties to the black tabs so that they can be hooked together when nested. Hoping the two together will get me down into the 30s.
Hope to get to try them out in a couple weeks. Had hoped to go out earlier this week but with temps in the 90s it was just too hot.
