    Different hammock

I was wondering the net and found this hammock.

The company seems to be closed down (and the website is from what I can tell)

Article about the hammock (scroll down a ways to view)

More of a hanging cot than a hammock. The design looked interesting. Maybe with new techno lines and carbon fiber spreaders, this design could be re-approached?

I did a search on the forum, and it had two mentions in the dusty archives... But nothing substantial that I could find.

Better find a way around the 16' extension ladder needed to get the suspension attached high enough in the trees.

Not really. Since you only need a short span, hence the support webbing can be lower. The trees would only need to be ~10' apart.

    The weight is pretty substantial.
