    As it turns out, "pulk" is Cherokee for "slides down off camber trail uncontrollably" and "Bob's Dairyland" is Hebrew for "place with warm biscuits".
    I'll be incorporating less Cherokee and more Hebrew this year.

    Dang! That is the same weekend I have a backpacking trip to Mt Mitchell. Of the 8 of us going, 4 are now hangers, so will be there in spirit!

    It was that darned hiking in the daylight that wore me out! Besides, I get to camp at 10:15, and no one has bothered to feed the mice!

    We (well, Spam was) were too busy stoking the fire to keep them warm. Why did you feed them anyway, you must be nuts.
