BillyBob58,,your right,,its 105" (8'9") on the tag,,and have my RL set at that,,and did a posting on the other thread about my 4 plus hours of tinkering with my new UL,,and I must say,,,its perfectly made and a sweet setup with a very very nice lay! I really think I am going to like this as it might just be my go to hammock period!

Good on 'Ya! I don't think there is anything that works as fool proof and consistently with an UQ as does a bridge hammock, just based on how stuff works for me!

Very often I don't bother with my old BMBH with the removable net, just doesn't seem to matter that much. Usually I just tighten it until the net is kind of tight and then back off some. Although, I do suspect that the JRB MW UQ fits with a bit more precision if the hammock tension is just right.

Bottom line: either way is good enough.
+1 BillyBob, keeps the length just right.
My bmbh is the original, but the newer model with the 3-side zipper on the bugnet, instructions say max width between the apex rings is 9'3" (my fixed ridgeline is set at 9'1", spectra cordage).
