They had their pfd. Stubborn teenagers won't wear it though, a pfd is not fashionable enough. So they swam back using them a surfboards. I tell them drowning isn't fashionable...
Everyone should pack some rice. If you don't need it by the last day of the trip, cook it for dinner.
Yeah I know what your mean about the teenagers being fashionable. I lead whitewater river trips and one of my girlfriends brought her 14 year old daughter who wouldnt tighten her helmet up...well she got ejected into a class 3 rapid and her helmet slid down over her eyes and she couldn't see to get back into the boat...she tightens her helmet now.
