I have been taking guided trips on the Manistee for 21 years guys. I love the area. It is really different to see it from the NCT than from the river, pretty both ways but different.

Any dates...
I'm going to be at Nordhouse Dunes just north of luddington the 11th-13th with a few friends (ground dwellers) from Michigan. It's a great place to spend a weekend!

I'd be in for that. Haven't been on the MRT for a few years so it would be nice to do that trail again. I'll keep an eye on this post. I'm pretty flexible so whatever dates you decide to go with are just fine for me...Bush
Im thinking the first weekend in May 4th 5th 6th or the 25th 26th 27th what do you guys think?
My vote would be end of the month...our first of the month....lol...
i know i prolly sound silly but what is the mrt?
Manistee River Trail. It's on the east side of the river near Mesick, MI but you can cross over and hook up with the North Country Trail for a nice ~20mi loop. Each side offers different scenery and view of the river which is really nice to keep it interesting. Here are some pics from a trip I took last week:
