Nice choice, exactly what I have and got good field use on the ohio hang, almost half a foot of snow fell. Held up perfectly, you'll be happy for sure.
One thing I did though when I got it was get a stuff sack for it as the one it comes with is a bit of a chore to get back into and it's very tight and compact. I opted for a quilt sized stuff sack for the ease of use packing it up and keeping it off the ground, also tends not to leave "dead-air" space in the pack as it contours whatever shape it needs to in the larger stuff sack. I kept the original stuff sack to use for my tent stakes and keep that inside the bigger stuff sack with the tarp.
Good idea on the stuff sack. I am getting a larger one for my sleeping bag for that same reason.

I have a BMJ and an OMW and both work but for extreme weather conditions I would go with the OMW
