Nice vid, awesome area. Closest I've hung was in the Suislaw NF on the way to Fort Klatsop.

    thanks
That's hard for me to say, as I don't use stuff sacks.
I will try to find my JRB compression sack, and get a scale size pic up.

Yea the hood is under the hammock.

I slept in wool socks and down booties.
    Polypropylene military cold weather bottoms.
#2 polypropylene top and thru hiker kinsman pullover
    Balaclava and black rock hat.

The siuslaw is great...I'm lucky to be so close in Corvallis. Some big old ancient giants in that forest.

Don't do anything special for me. I though it would have come with a stuff sack. I was just wondering what size that was.

When I use the Exped as pod the hood hangs down under the gathered end...just curious....i guess one could creat an opening in the Exped maybe in the hood down low for the hammock/suspension to exit?
With the sale next week at UK Hammocks, which includes custom stuff, i am sending my Wallcreeper to Mat to have a slit put in the back of the hood so i can use the hood while in pod mode. i am also having him add loops to the shoulders and feet to suspend it like an under quilt. Should be totally enclosed with these mods

    That sounds great.
Don't forget to post some pictures when you get it back.

My mother does a bit of sewing, but when I consulted her about making a cinch cord around the shoulders (like on the bottom) she said it's above her skill level and it would probably ruin the bag.

BF, several of us are working toward that mod on the Wallcreeper--looks like you'll be the first to pull it off! Def get us pics/vids of the mod.
I think this is the beginning of a new class of wearable quilt-pods and another option for hangers.
Personally I like the Wallcreeper slightly over the Wren because of the full length zipper but FF makes primo gear. Hopefully someone will mod out the Wren to allow the hammock/susp to pass through and the use of the hood in sleep mode. For anyone familiar with the Wallcreeper hood, you know its one of the best hoods ever designed for sleeping bag and/or parka.

as you say MM - the wallcreeper is amazing.
the zipper is powerful, and now the hood mod (and yes, the best hood) will
help to revolutionize that type of system. i think the pockets are cool too.

i've seen the work ukhammocks has done via video, and it all looks great.
i can't wait to see BF's mod, and if i'm 100% convinced.. the wren may be flying across the pond.
