DIY 2012 What projects do you have planned?

My Z-Packs order should be shipping soon and I should be starting my first two DIY projects.

    1) Add center tie-outs to my Guide Gear tarp so I can use it as a tarp
    for two.

2)Make my own bug net based on Fronkey's design.

What projects do you have lined up for 2012?

Kermegan was kind enough to send me some metal bottles a few months back. So one of these days I'm going to make some alky stoves.

Since I am not able to start/complete most of my projects this year for 2012 I have:
-More wristies (thank you again Knotty )
    -Tarp/poncho
    -Cuben backpack (probably 35-40l)
    -Whoopies
    -Soft shackles
    -HUG
-Full bug net for cozy book reading in the summer
    -Python skins for tarp
    -Ghost hammock
-And if I have enough money TQ+UQ

I already have the materials for everything else but TQ+UQ The materials arrived on Wednesday and so far I have made some soft shackles and one pair of wristies. I actually used them tomorrow in the morning because it was chilly but not so cold that you would need gloves.

Offtopic: this winter has been very warm, I think there has been under 7 days below -0C where I live. Last winter this time of the year it would have been -30C and today it was about +2C.

Three replys and two include wristies. Maybe I should look into that.

Here's the stuff I can think of right now:
    - Insulated coozy for water bottles, camcorder batteries and other stuff to keep warm in winter. I want to use a hand warmer as the heat source.
    - Incorporate drip rings into a custom WS suspension that I made for my CJH.
    - Coozy from a car sun shade to rehydrate homemade bagged meals.
    - Synthetic pads for the pockets on my CJH.
    - Snares and snare trip systems.
    - Self-tensioning tarp guy lines using tubing instead of shock cord.
    - Internal storage mods like a ridgeline organizer without the ridgeline for my CJH -- For glasses, phone and other stuff I want in with me.
    - Ground tarp out of Tyvek with grommets for going to the ground if necessary in my CJH.
    - Some way to attach a firesteel to a Mora sheath.

    And my most ambitious project:
    - I'd really like to try to make a bushcraft knife. Harbor Freight, here I come! Tool Dude needs more tools.

My project is not to buy anymore gear. I made a hammock stand I had been planning for awhile and it turned out awesome. 2012 should be a year of just enjoying my current gear for me. I'm all set.

I have a couple of backpacks, a bridge hammock, and maybe a pulk in the queue for 2012.

Hmmmmm let me think. Probably about 40 different alky stoves

A bunch of stuff sacks. Some super heavy hammock socks for those cold nights, I might even try some down. A TQ / UQ possibly out of down. A nice cat cut tarp. And on and on and on and on........

I almost forgot: Something like the Dixon Roller Pack from AHE and maybe a pulk too.
