Ok, so I feel really stupid for doing this but I now cannot attend. Its the same weekend as an awards dinner that I need to be at. I feel twice as bad because 1. I cant attend the event and 2. I voted for the weekend thinking I would attend. I am sorry for leading everyone along and skewing the vote.

Wish I could. That's a work weekend for me. Camped in that park once and it was great. I would love to see the lighthouse in the winter.

I don't seem to have much luck calling the park and getting answers, tried several times over the weekend figuring someone would be there... Pretty sure we will have vault toilets only, no heated bathhouse, maybe elec, and thats about it... If we have elec water should be not problem with large commerical coffee urn, just keep loading it with snow which I'm pretty sure they got over night...

Stone- I'm in, confident winter camper, has been years though.

Was out to the park this weekend. Vault toilets will be available. The Cedars loop will be open for winter camping, self pay, not sure what is up with the electricity situation. There are plenty of sites with good trees.
Its a proven fact that 78.4% of all statstics are made up on the spot.

The maybe for me is because of kid things and weather of course. Don't mind a little snow on the drive, but it's a long coastline from Chicago with serious snow. From what I've read this will be a state park drive in campsite. How bad can it be? Bring four underquilts if it's cold. You can even plug in a electric blanket if an outlet is provided . Been out a good many times in the winter, but have to admit not much in deep snow.
