If I have to walk the bike for a mile at the end, that isn't too bad either. From the sound of it, the main road in is pretty good, but the turnoff isn't particularly nice.

    Thanks for the info.
As I recall it was not too bad--we had at least two motorcycles make it in--maybe they can comment. The shoulders of the turn off were sugar, but the rest was drivable with some potholes. It is a formal campsite so the roads are maintained to allow traffic. I have a vid I took at the gate. I will dig it up and post to tonight. That might help.
Hedgehogs! Why can't they just share the hedge?

Thanks! 'Preciate it. Even if I do have to walk the bike (bicycle, not motor) from SR 19 on in, it looks like it's only a mile or two anyway. Depending on whether I can get Tuesday off (I can't get Friday or Saturday off, for certain), I may ride down. If not, I'll probably just take the car.

Lol. Bike is such an ambiguous word. Of course I could have looked at the profile pic though! I say bike to mean my Giant and Vespa to mean my Vespa.

Speaking of motorcycles, I have not heard a peep from Chattanooga Chuck in quite some time. Anyone know what happened to him?

Boy did my ears just perk up! Flackfizer do I hear the makings of a scooter hang in the makings? I have a Bajaj that my wife and I have put just under 17,000 miles on and am rebuilding a 1964 Vespa V90.
Look up before you hook up!!

Heh. Yeah, I guess I should've been more precise in my wording. Sorry about the confusion.

His profile page says he hasn't been on since April. I sent him a pm a few weeks after the hang but he never responded. Have family in Chatt-town so wanted to meet up. Hope all is good with him.

Picked up a Vespa GTS 300 Super earlier this summer... Sweet fun ride.
Would love to find an older vintage scooter some day too.

I have a 1980 P-150 that only runs when it feels like it. It is an Italian one with its old Verona papers--not a US sale version. I need to get it fixed--the stator plate I think. I love it, but is can be a pain--all vintage vehicles are. I have had it for 10 years.
