    Single panel vs seamed hammocks

I have a Grand Trunk Ultralight that is a single panel of cloth and the other day, I got a Pawley's Island hammock that is identical to an ENO, with a large center panel with two slimmer side sections.

The GT UL is smooth and very comfortable, but I find that the left seam on the three panel hammock hits me right in the back of the head and under my shoulder blade. Under tension, the triple stitched seam is like a cable.

Does anyone else have input or an aid to making it more comfortable?

I have the same issue as you do in my eno with the seam under my head. A neck pillow seems to help a little bit but it is still annoying. I prefer a single panel hammock,

I have the ENO doubles and haven't had any problems. However, I heard that the ENO double deluxe has a similar seam and it's uncomfortable. You might try changing the sag a few times to reduce the load on the seam.
